The Preflight are there websites that instruct you on how to pre trip your airplane
Hello Leo,
The best way is to follow your airplane’s checklist and POH. Your instructor should help you the first few times. The preflight will vary from plane to plane, but most will include some basic items. Read: http://www.firstflight.com/private-pilot-course/preflighting-the-aircraft/
Also some experimental aircrafts will not have a checklist and/or the POH may not have enough information, you can read here about those: http://www.experimentalaircraft.info/flight-planning/aircraft-preflight.php
This is for the preflight inspection, the preflight briefing is different but just as important task to perform before each flight.
You may search the web for more information, also the FAA’s website has lots of tips and manuals.
I hope that helps a bit.
