Picture of the day: A mother hen and her chick

By General Aviation News Staff · November 20, 2017 ·

Captain William Brady sent in this photo, taken in Fairview, Alberta, as he was preparing to take the PBY5A C-FNJE, which is owned by the Fairview Aircraft Restoration Society, to an air show in Fort St. John, British Columbia.

The flight engineers’ granddaughter parked the Super Cub under the PBY’s wing.

“It makes me think of a mother hen and her chick,” he said.

It is a clever caption, very fitting I must say. This proms me to submit my version of a mother hen (Ford Tri Motor) and my Corby Starlet as the chic.
