Gary Lanthrum of Port Hadlock, Washington, sent us this photo, with a quick note: “I’m flying my 85-year-old mom to our home in Washington State for a weekend with my family. We’re in my Maule MX7-180C. It is a 4.5 hour drive to bring her to our place, but only a 1.5 hour flight, even in a slow plane like mine. Besides, the view is better than from a car!”
