With the use of GPS, many navigation problems are sorted out but basics always remain. Many pilots during learning phases are lost during country flights. What they see down below on the ground do not match with the sectional chart they are carrying. They forget about ‘Magnetic Variations”. Has happened to me in my PPL check ride in Victoria B. C. Canada where the variations was 22 degrees East.
Can’t disagree with the ten items. Landings definitely number 1. Excellent video. Maybe could be titled ‘Top Ten Mistakes Pilots Make’.
