Dear Ms. Wood,
After reading your article titled “Top 10 Best Selling Aircraft of 2018” in General Aviation News online, we wanted to clarify a few points. Since the title “Top 10 Best Selling Aircraft of 2018” was used, helicopters should be included in that group. According to General Aviation Manufacturing Association (GAMA)’s latest year- end numbers for 2018, Robinson Helicopters, more specifically the R44 Raven II manufactured 128 helicopters. This is obviously more than the Piper PA-28-181 Archer III which held the #4 spot at 107 sold. Please refer to GAMA’s latest Year-End summary for reference. If you are going to use the word “Aircraft”, we ask that you include helicopters and specifically the R44 Raven II.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Because this is internet 😉
Robinson sold 200+ R-44’s which are also aircraft. How are they not #1 on your “aircraft” list?
