David Montgomery submitted the following photo and note: “After a late afternoon return from Bessie’s diner at Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport (KJVL), the Cardinal returns to Aurora Municipal Airport (KARR) in Illinois, to its nest. Photo by Mike Baer, my hangar neighbor.”

    Beautiful Cardinal! I believe I found my next screensaver! I wish Cessna would bring the 177 back.

      I have about 100 hours in the 177 – one of my favorite airplanes. Definitely one of Cessna’s best designs. The 177 was a but “misunderstood”, so it didn’t hit the popularity it could have, given its potential. its’ a much better airplane than the 172..

    What a beautiful airplane, I like the color and the paint scheme, first Cardinal that I really like. You must be very proud of your bird….take card !!!
