New FBO in works for KELP

A new FBO is under development by Million Air at El Paso International Airport (ELP) in Texas. 

Groundbreaking was held Feb. 13, 2020, for the new facility, which will be the fifth Million Air FBO in Texas and 32nd location for the FBO network.

The new FBO is expected to be open for business in early 2021, according to officials.

The FBO will feature 10,069 square feet of lobby space, 23,383 square feet of hangar space, a 6,000 square-foot aircraft porte-cochere, and more than five acres of ramp space capable of supporting any aircraft type.

The new general aviation terminal will include a café, refreshment bar, pilot’s lounge, snooze rooms, a flight planning room, and a multi-media conference room.
