A slew of aviation events have been cancelled or postponed due to concerns about the coronavirus, while aviation museums around the country have closed temporarily.
SUN ‘n FUN has been postponed until May 5 (tentatively), while the first fly-in for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, slated for May 29-30 in San Marcos, Texas, has been indefinitely postponed.
The Aircraft Electronics Association has postponed its annual convention, slated for March 24-27. No new date has been set yet.
The National Business Aviation Association has canceled all of its scheduled events and meetings through July 1.
A number of aviation museums around the country also have closed temporarily.
The best bet in all situations is to call or go online to see if a museum is closed or an event is cancelled.
