Michele Rutledge has been named LightHawk’s new Chief Executive Officer.
She succeeds former CEO Terri Watson, who will continue with LightHawk as a volunteer pilot and advisory council member.

Michele comes to LightHawk with nearly two decades of corporate and nonprofit leadership experience, including prior executive leadership with Wings of Hope, an international humanitarian aviation charity based in Missouri.
“LightHawk’s team of conservation experts and volunteer pilots are tackling the issues of our planet head-on,” she said. “I am inspired by their excellence and creativity, particularly as they effectively partner with so many great conservation organizations in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada to make a difference on so many important issues.”
Michele will start at LightHawk April 1, 2020.
Lighthawk has a network of more than 300 general aviation pilots, who fly missions to help the environment and conservation efforts.
