Aircraft Spruce named exclusive distributor for Hartzell Engine Technologies

By General Aviation News Staff · May 6, 2020 ·

Hartzell Engine Technologies has appointed Aircraft Spruce the exclusive distributor of all of the company’s new and remanufactured products, including Sky-Tec starters, Plane-Power alternators, JanitrolAero heaters, Fuelcraft fuel pumps, and AeroForce turbochargers.

“It’s been our plan since Hartzell Engine Technologies acquired Quality Aircraft Accessories earlier this year to bolster our online presence through a strategic relationship with none other than GA’s leading catalog and online source for everything for airplanes and owners — Aircraft Spruce,” said Hartzell Engine Technology President Keith Bagley.

“We are extremely pleased to be serving as HET’s exclusive independent distributor. Our goal is to offer our customers the best products in general aviation,” stated Aircraft Spruce and Specialty President Jim Irwin. “Representing Hartzell Engine Technologies products lets us do that.”

Bagley explained that as the exclusive customer-direct distributor for North America, Aircraft Spruce & Specialty and its subsidiary, Aero Performance, will sell all of Hartzell Engine Technology products to aircraft owners and builders.

“The primary goal of our exclusive distributorship with Aircraft Spruce is to streamline the buying experience for our customers,” he said.

“Now, it’s very easy for aircraft owners and FAA licensed repair shops to know where to go to get the best selection, pricing, and support for any new HET product or component,” he added. “It will also make it easier for us to process returns and handle warranty situations.”
