ASA has released the seventh edition of the “Practical Aviation & Aerospace Law” textbook and its companion workbook.
Updated and expanded, the book provides readers with the basic legal knowledge and perspective to understand how the legal system works in the aviation industry.

The authors explain how to recognize and avoid common legal pitfalls, and how to decide when it’s time call a lawyer, according to ASA officials.
The latest edition reflects recent judicial decisions and changes in statutory, regulatory, and international treaty law. It covers topics surrounding the burgeoning unmanned aircraft system (UAS) and commercial spaceflight segments as well, company officials note.
The hardcover textbook is $49.95, while ebooks are priced at $44.95. The softcover workbook is priced at $24.95, while ebook versions of the workbook sell for $19.95. The book will begin shipping in early June 2020.
