Waypoint Backpack debuts

By General Aviation News Staff · July 21, 2020 ·

Flight Outfitters has introduced the Waypoint Backpack, a larger, more traditional size backpack loaded with features for pilots.

“While we all loved the Centerline Backpack, we did hear from some pilots that were looking for a slightly larger backpack that still had pilot-friendly features,” said Flight Outfitters Founder Mark Glassmeyer. “This thoughtfully-designed backpack has room for all your aviation gear but is flexible enough to work as an overnight bag or an everyday laptop case.”

The large center compartment accommodates a headset and kneeboard, with plenty of room for a change of clothes, company officials noted.

Two interior mesh side pockets are sized for an ADS-B receiver or GoPro, and a zippered pocket organizes charging cords and battery packs. The company’s signature orange interior makes it easy to find your gear, even at night, company officials added.

Dedicated pockets protect your electronics, including a padded compartment with sections for both a laptop and a tablet. The outside includes an organizer pocket, soft-lined sunglasses pocket, and a carabiner for hanging larger gear.

The backpack, priced at $129.95, will be available in September 2020.
