Susan Loricchio submitted this photo and note: “When we diligently slave over our ground school material to stay sharp or pass an FAA written exam, it is always fun to study and commiserate with classmates. However, when it is not possible to meet up, the next best thing is hanging with my ‘study buddy’ Cappuccino. Here he is on a break. Recently, we studied hard and I got my Advanced Ground Instructor Certificate, and now we are working on the IGI and Commercial written exams. I had a teaching position lined up, but COVID-19 cancelled that opportunity. We’re not giving up, just in a holding pattern for a clearance. In the meantime, back to the books.”

What a wonderful photo. Thank you. You are lucky to have each other.
Yes, I am! Thank you! And he poses himself. The “study buddy” Cappuccino (name he had from the shelter) is a rescue from Easton, PA…still happy to not be in a cage. When he thinks it is time for me to stop studying, he goes into his sleep poses right on my iPad or anywhere nearby. Once in awhile, on a quiet afternoon, I take him to the airport for a walk.
How cute! So proud of your aviation accomplishments! You rock, Cuz!
Thanks, Doris! Hope you take the first step to a discovery flight!
