Ashley Wade of Louisiana sent in this photo showing the damage that Hurricane Laura, which made landfall in Louisiana Aug. 27, 2020, did to his home airport, Southland Field Airport (KUXL) in Sulphur, Louisiana.
He sent the photo first to frequent Picture of the Day contributor Megan Vande Voort, who forwarded it to us with this note: “The Meyer’s OTW we cared for is there. Thankfully it sustained only minor damage.”
