Checklist for Success helps prepare pilots for a winning airline interview

By General Aviation News Staff · October 2, 2020 ·

The seventh edition of “Checklist for Success: A Pilot’s Guide to the Successful Airline Interview” has been released by Aviation Supplies & Academics.

The updated book offers a step-by-step preparation program, guiding pilots from application through the interview, according to ASA officials.

Author Cheryl Cage illustrates her points by reflecting on her own experiences counseling aspiring pilots, furloughed pilots, and career changers.

Many pilots find the pilot selection process frustrating, according to Cage. In addition to technical experience, today’s airline pilot must also demonstrate highly developed leadership, decision making, and communication skills. Discussing one’s abilities in these introspective areas requires a different kind of preparation than most pilots have experienced, she says, noting “Checklist for Success” will help lower stress and shorten the time it takes to reach career goals.

The softcover book sells for $29.95, while the eBook sells for $24.95.
