Dave Woodcock sent in the picture with a note: “I purchased the L-4H Grasshopper 43-30430 (N9217H) in April 2020. The aircraft is a veteran of the Battle of the Bulge and the subsequent push into Germany for victory. It was attached to the 30th Infantry Division, Ninth Army, seeing action from November 1944 through the end of World War II and has a documented war record. The photo was taken by my ferry pilot Brooks Mershon at Fort Bridger Airport (KFBR) in Wyoming where he stopped for the night. Brooks was ferrying the plane from eastern Colorado to Sequim, Washington.”

Dave, a beautiful photo (thank you, Brooks Mershon), and even more beautiful story; safe travels in your piece of history. Could you tell us her whole story since the end of the war?
