    Congratulations on your IR.

    But wet blanket time: shame on both of you for hanging on the prop for a photo! Safety first means have more respect for that meat cleaver.

    Congratulations, Matthew. Now fly IFR nearly always so you get comfortable with the process and sharpen your new skill set. DO NOT let your currency lapse, unless you just like the stress of an Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC) with a CFII. Make sure your Flight Review is with a CFII and includes approaches, holds, and partial panel so your skills are occasionally critiqued by an expert. And enjoy being treated like a pro by ATC.
