General Aviation Awards nominations deadline looms

By General Aviation News Staff · November 13, 2020 ·

The deadline for submitting nominations and applications for the 2021 National General Aviation Awards is Nov. 30, 2020.

For more than 50 years, the General Aviation Awards Program and the FAA have honored aviation professionals for their contributions to general aviation in the fields of flight instruction, aviation maintenance, and safety.

The national Certificated Flight Instructor, Aviation Maintenance Technician, and FAA Safety Representative honorees will receive an all-expense paid trip to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. During AirVenture they will receive recognition from the FAA administrator, have a dedicated ceremony with other FAA officials, have their names added to the large plaque in the EAA Museum, and will be treated at an awards luncheon where they will receive gifts donated by GAA’s industry sponsors.

Application forms and complete details of how to create an application packet can be found at GeneralAviationAwards.com/Nominations.

Help recognize “the best of the best” by nominating that truly exceptional flight instructor, aviation maintenance technician, or FAASTeam representative for one of these awards (or nominate yourself).

i was taking flying lessons, and got my dad to sighn off that I could solo at the age of 15 years old, normal is 16 years. I feel that with my help!! I helped generate new pilots to our Airport. and advance Aviation. I also flew a Powered Parachute, I FEEL WITH MY WORK WITH THE FAA AND STATE. WE WOULD HAVE NOT ACQUIRED ALL OF THIS GRANT MERCHANDISE, !!!!! THAT IS MY SUBMISSION.
