John Carroll submitted this photo and note: “This shot was taken by a friend, after the plane was maneuvered to demonstrate best angle of climb. We were also capturing one of the best smiles of mine. At the time of the picture, the carburetor was experiencing an identity crisis. Float carbs don’t always realize their full potential.”
“Design intent can be kidnapped and sold into forced-labor, upside-down. And if centrifugal force is working the day shift at the power plant, not a drop will be spilled. I think the fuel system might have thought that the earth was messing with his mind, or that someone reset the gravity-switch.”
“This is aircraft “mild abuse” but for a great cause. You should contribute to the fund. I mean fun!”
