Happy 85th Birthday to the DC-3

By General Aviation News Staff · December 19, 2020 ·

A new video just posted to YouTube includes 85th birthday wishes from members of the D-Day Squadron‘s DC-3 Society from around the world. Celebrated as one of the most legendary aircraft of our time, the DC-3’s accomplishments spread across war and peace, made commercial air travel possible, and helped bring an end to World War II.

“Let’s celebrate a legend together!” officials exclaim.
