FBO expands at KYIP

By General Aviation News Staff · December 29, 2020 ·

YPSILANTI, Michigan — Avflight has broken ground on its new hangar and office complex at Willow Run Airport (KYIP).

The development, adjacent to Avflight’s FBO on the east side of the airfield, includes a 41,745-square-foot complex with two hangars totaling 30,000 square feet, more than 7,000 square feet of office space, and an indoor parking garage. The complex will be able to house corporate jets of any size.

Avflight officials expect the project to be complete by mid-August 2021.

Avflight plans to use the additional land at the construction site to build another 30,000 square feet of hangar space similar to those under construction.

Avflight operates a network of FBOs across North America and Europe.
