Virginia, Texas locations for AOPA Showcases

By General Aviation News Staff · February 2, 2021 ·

The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association plans two Aviator Showcases in 2021.

The Aviator Showcases will be held Aug. 27 in Manassas, Virginia, and Oct. 1 in Fort Worth, Texas. The one-day events will be an opportunity for pilots to explore exhibits and new aircraft displays, and a chance for aviation companies to showcase their latest gear.

Companies already on board as event sponsors include Aircraft Spruce, AssuredPartners Aerospace, Breitling, Genesys Aerosystems, Hartzell Engine Technologies, Hartzell Propeller, Jeppesen, and Superior Air Parts.

The first showcase will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 27 at Manassas Regional Airport (KHEF), hosted by Chantilly Air Jet Center.

The second will be held Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Fort Worth Alliance Airport (KAFW), hosted by Alliance Aviation Services.

According to AOPA officials, to be sure the association is in alignment with current CDC guidelines at the time of the event, AOPA will open registration approximately 12 weeks before each event. Attendance will be limited according to CDC restrictions, and advance registration is required.

Registration information will be available through AOPA’s website. Tickets to the events are $20.
