The new Extra NG has received FAA certification.
The NG (new generation) aircraft is the first totally composite/carbon fiber aerobatic aircraft from Extra, according to company officials.
The company reports it has built 20 aircraft to date, with orders “fast accumulating.”
Company officials also noted that Southeast Aero Sales is now the North American distributor for Extra. Southeast Aero Sales has increased its area by now servicing both the East in Florida and the West in Denver.
