Video: Landing on a frozen lake

By General Aviation News Staff · February 23, 2021 ·

Robin Johansson recently posted a video to YouTube that documents two days of flying in February in Scandinavia, including several landings and takeoffs from a frozen lake.

“A high pressure system has been covering Scandinavia the last couple of weeks, bringing low temperatures and clear weather,” he says on the video’s page. “The lakes and even parts of the ocean are frozen solid and makes for a perfect runway to land and explore.”

This is an aviation video. Why does the author think I need to listen to hi-hop?
