Museum fundraiser slated day before Cleveland Air Show

By General Aviation News Staff · August 6, 2021 ·

The International Women’s Air & Space Museum (IWASM) will host its annual fundraising event “Corks on the Concourse” on Friday, Sept. 3, 2021, from 6-9 p.m. The event will take place at Burke Lakefront Airport the day before the return of the Cleveland National Air Show.

This year, the event will take place both in person and virtually, according to museum officials.

The event coincides with the 45th anniversary of the museum — 23 of which have been celebrated in its home at Burke Lakefront Airport downtown. The evening features several local wineries, hors d’oeuvres, music, and special exhibits and programs. All of the evening’s activities go toward benefitting the museum’s mission and community engagement.

Tickets are $75 for non-members or $65 for IWASM members. This year, the museum is offering a special bundle for tickets plus a discounted one-year membership for new members for $110. All in-person tickets include a commemorative wine glass and wine samples. Also offered is a $50 ticket for Designated Drivers, and $25 for those who wish to participate virtually.

Tickets may be purchased online on the Events page at IWASM.org or by calling 216-623-1111. Deadline to RSVP is Aug. 27, 2021.
