Video: Candy Clipper

Kermit Weeks of Fantasy of Flight just posted a video featuring his Grumman Duck, “Candy Clipper.” The short video features several flying scenes, and landings and takeoffs from both the land and water. Kermit also shares some fascinating facts about the bird, including how the pilot must crank a handle 46 times to put the landing gear up.

    Fantastic exhibition Kermit I just love those old radials after my one year as a Flight Engineer on the Connie for TWA in 1965 before moving up to copilot! I really enjoyed operating those 3350s.
