Picture of the Day: Flying Over the Dead Sea

By General Aviation News Staff · August 30, 2021 ·

Nof Miron submitted this photo and note: “A climb out of Bar Yehuda Airfield (LLMZ) in Israel, the lowest airstrip in the world, just off the shore of the Dead Sea. Flying my Tecnam P92 from the left side of the cockpit, and my friend Amit Agronov, who is an aviation photographer, is in the right seat. Shot with the Gopro 7 mounted on my wing.”

I used to go to Israel about twice a year on business. The Dead Sea area was by far my favorite place. Stunningly beautiful, historic. Loved it there.
