The Zenith Aircraft Homecoming and 30th annual Open Hangar Days and Fly-In will take off Sept. 17-18, 2021, at the company’s kit aircraft aircraft factory at Mexico Memorial Airport (KMYJ) in Missouri.
The gathering of Zenith builders, owners, and enthusiasts kicks off Friday, Sept. 17, with educational workshop classes and seminars, including engine and avionics seminars, and maintenance and building workshops.
The Zenith “banquet” on Friday and a BBQ on Saturday will be held outdoors to allow for social distancing, according to company officials.
A hands-on rudder workshop will be held immediately before Homecoming, on Sept. 15-16.
Company officials have posted an “official preview video,” which includes a full demo flight in a STOL CH-750, including a grass field landing.
Spoken like a true redneck anti vaxxer republican who still believes that Covid is a hoax.
Gonna be honest here, I was really put off by Zenith’s lack of any kind of protections last year for their fly in (which really should never have happened in the first place) and I’m still not convinced that they care enough about their current or future customers this year even with at least some kind of social distancing…..I like the products, love Chris Heintz’s work actually, but am not too sure about the current management. I hope all who attend stays safe and are careful because I’m not convinced Zenith will care either way.
Big boys and Big girls are able to make choices for themselves . Makes no difference if the company choose to let the folk choose for them self and not to play nanny roll . As to Zenith caring they cared enough to hold an event and let grown men and women make their own choice again without playing the roll of nanny. If social distancing is important to you are any one else for that matter maybe best to just stay home and not worry ones self over other folks choices. Being honest here MOST folk can decide things for them self and do not need hall monitors are nannys to tell them what to do includeing intrusive goverment .
