Helping companies hire faster

By General Aviation News Staff · October 18, 2021 ·

JSfirm.com, an online job site dedicated to the aviation industry, has updated its website to help companies address the current worker shortage, including more ways to find relevant job seekers faster, according to company officials.

Companies can see the most recent, pertinent resumes with JSfirm.com Resume Alerts. These daily emails alert companies that relevant job seekers, local to the posted job or willing to relocate, are actively updating their profile and resume on JSfirm.com.

Another new feature is the enhanced Airmen’s Database. This searchable database allows hiring companies to obtain information on registered, opted-in airmen in a certain geographical location through searching Pilots, Mechanics, Dispatchers, or UAV/UAS Operators, then narrowing those search results by type rating, last name, inspection authorization, and more. This new feature is exclusive to hiring companies with an annual membership on JSfirm.com, officials note.

“Employers are finding themselves having to source prospective employees in creative and new ways,” said JSfirm.com Executive Director Abbey Hutter. “JSfirm.com developed Resume Alerts and a user-friendly Airmen’s Database in response to the unbelievable hiring demands in the industry. Whether you want to set Resume Alerts and wait for candidates to come to you, actively search for local certified airmen, or both, these new features can help your company save time and operating costs.”
