Latest edition of The Pilot’s Manual: Flight School released

By General Aviation News Staff · October 28, 2021 ·

Aviation Supplies & Academics has released the sixth edition of “The Pilot’s Manual: Flight School,” which covers all the tasks for the FAA Practical Exam for the Private and Commercial Certificates.

With text supported by more than 500 full-color illustrations and photographs, students will gain both a theoretical and operational understanding of flying, according to ASA officials. In addition to covering all the maneuvers required for the checkride, this textbook also prepares readers for the student pilot milestones: First solo, cross-country, instrument, and night flight.

Also included is a comprehensive airplane checkout review, which readers can use to prepare for transitioning to a new airplane type, insurance applications, or the Flight Review.

The hardcover book is priced at $59.95, while the eBook is $54.95. You can get both in a bundle for $69.95. The book will begin shipping in mid-November 2021.
