Art in the sky

By General Aviation News Staff · December 2, 2021 ·

The Cirrus SR-22 made the 2022 cover.

Sherwin-Williams will release its 2022 calendar in December 2021, after asking paint shops and others to enter a contest to be part of the calendar.

“This year was more competitive than ever with a 42% increase in submissions from paint shops that had never participated before,” says Julie Voisin, Global Marketing Manager – Aerospace Market & Automotive Interiors for Sherwin-Williams.

The calendar features aircraft painted from:

  • ArtCraft Paint – Mooney M20
  • C&L Aviation Group – Hawker 900 XP
  • Cirrus Aircraft – Cirrus 8000th Limited Edition SR-22
  • Constant Aviation – Bombardier Challenger 601-3R
  • Corrigan Air Center – Cessna Citation CJ3
  • Duncan Aviation – Piper PA44-180T Turbo Seminole
  • First Class Aerospace – Eclipse 500
  • Icon Aircraft – Icon A5
  • Master Aircraft Services – Bell 206 L4 and Pilatus PC-12
  • Spectre Aeronautics LLC – Beechcraft V35 Bonanza
  • West Star Aviation – Hawker 900XP and Bombardier Global XRS

“This coming year’s calendar collection truly presents a complete gambit of ‘art in the sky’ and we are pleased to announce we will be adding a digital download option for the 2022 calendar,” added Voisin.
