Blue Line Aviation opens new facility at KJNX

Blue Line Aviation has opened its new facility at Johnston Regional Airport (KJNX) in Smithfield, North Carolina, featuring a new DA40/DA42 convertible Diamond simulator.

The simulator sits in a custom-built room in the new 50,000-square-foot headquarters of Blue Line Aviation, which provides accelerated aviation training.

The company has placed one the largest fleet orders in Diamond Aircraft history, with single engine DA40 NGs and twin engine DA42-VIs among the 100-aircraft order, according to Diamond Aircraft officials.

The new facility also includes hangar space, a professional pilot training center, a rooftop barbeque restaurant, an operations and dispatch center, flight briefing rooms, and administrative offices.
