Redbird flight training conference migrates to Oshkosh

By General Aviation News Staff · March 16, 2022 ·

Redbird Flight Simulations will hold the 2023 Redbird Migration Flight Training Conference at the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Aviation Museum in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, April 11-12, 2023.

The company selected the EAA Aviation Museum as the next venue for its conference to celebrate, highlight, and utilize the additions to the facility, which include a Youth Education Center and a 15,000 square-foot Pilot Proficiency Center, according to Redbird officials.

The new Pilot Proficiency Center, which EAA plans to open to the public in May of 2022, is a state-of-the-art skill building and training center for general aviation pilots. It combines safety forums with flight simulator training sessions to address critical safety issues, Redbird officials noted.

The center will be open year-round to general aviation pilots, furthering the mission and successes of the pop-up proficiency center featured during the week of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh since 2016.

Introduced in 2011, the Redbird Migration features presentations from a wide range of industry leaders and small group breakout sessions tailored to meet the goals of attendees.
