What’s better than flying on a beautiful March day? Helping others, as some general aviation pilots in Missouri discovered over the weekend of March 19.
According to a report from television station KOMU, the pilots were part of the first ever Food Flight, with pilots flying in to the Columbia Regional Airport with food donations for the Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri.
While it was a first, organizers hope to repeat the Food Flight at least once a year.
