Avfuel opens applications for 2022 scholarships

By General Aviation News Staff · April 11, 2022 ·

Avfuel is now taking applications for the fifth annual Pilot-in-Training Scholarship and 24th annual AVTRIP Scholarship.

Applications must be submitted by Sept 5, 2022. You can find the application at Avfuel.com/Scholarships.

The Avfuel Pilot-in-Training Scholarship will award three scholarships — $1,500, $1,000 and $500 — that can be used for flight training, educational tuition fees, and more.

The AVTRIP Scholarship awards one AVTRIP member $2,000 to further their aviation education. It can be used for flight training, tuition, or to earn a new rating.

Also new this year is the Sheltair & Avfuel: Future Takes Flight Scholarship Program, which will provide $30,000 annually. Each year, this program will award six $5,000 scholarships across three categories: Two for learning to fly or advanced pilot ratings; two for aviation technicians; and two for continuing education. Deadline for these scholarships is June 1, 2022.

Applications for all the scholarships are available at Avfuel.com/AVTRIP/Maximize-AVTRIP/Scholarship-Opportunities
