
The FAA will host an online Spring Training Workshop for general aviation pilots May 19, 2022.
The online workshop is designed to help general aviation pilots reduce the risk of airfield errors and lower the potential for accidents during the spring and summer flying seasons, according to FAA officials.
Pilots and air traffic experts will discuss a number of topics, including knowledge of runway geometry and signage, hot spot standardization, arrival alert notices, and more.
Aviation experts will participate in four safety panel discussions:
- What We See on the Runways Today
- New Runway Safety Tools
- The Danger of Rust and Inattention
- From the Flight Deck and From the Tower
The webinar will be held via Zoom from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time and pilots will earn WINGS credit for attending.
