Free drone training from Reno Air Races

By General Aviation News Staff · June 28, 2022 ·

The Reno Air Racing Association and its partners Global Robot and Drone Deployment and the Nevada Business Aviation Association are offering free FAA Part 107 pilot training.

The free training is for:

  • Military veterans and their families
  • Public safety officers
  • High school educators and high school students

The 2022 summer session, a live nine-week instructor-led webinar training series, begins July 2.

The weekly calls will “fully prepare you for your Part 107 written exam,” officials promise. In fact, they say that if you complete the online course you are guaranteed to pass the FAA exam.
