LogTen updated to include multitasking and new navigation to streamline pilot workflow

By General Aviation News Staff · August 16, 2022 ·

Coradine Aviation Systems has updated its LogTen pilot log to include simplified navigation and iPad multitasking to streamline pilot workflow in the cockpit.

LogTen 2022.1 for iPad is optimized to take advantage of the capabilities of iPad split screen functionality, according to company officials.

Whether it’s reviewing their pilot roster while adding new log entries, monitoring local weather while keeping an eye on duty limits, or completing a form with their most recent flight totals, using LogTen with iPad’s Split View Multitasking makes the process quicker and easier, officials noted.

LogTen’s new navigation system on iPhone and iPad will make logging flights more efficient, they added.

“New Entry” enables pilots to instantly log a new flight with a single tap, no matter where they are in LogTen. The “Plan” and “Analyze” tabs are easier to access with dedicated tabs throughout the app, according to company officials.

Additionally, all logbook related items such as Aircraft, Types, Places, etc. as well as Reports and Backup functionality, have moved from Settings to directly in the Logbook tab.

“Every change in LogTen comes from pilot feedback,” said Noah Lieberman, president.
