Dozens of Zenith Aircraft owners are expected to fly to Mexico, Missouri, Sept. 16-17, 2022, for the Zenith Aircraft Homecoming Annual Open Hangar Days and Fly-In.

Held at the company’s factory at Mexico Memorial Airport (KMYJ), this year’s fly-in will celebrate Zenith Aircraft’s 30th anniversary.

“This promises to be another fun and activity-packed gathering of Zenith builders, owners and enthusiasts, with two full days of educational and flying activities planned,” Zenith officials said.

Educational workshop classes and seminars are scheduled starting on Friday, Sept. 16, including engine and avionics seminars, and maintenance and building workshops.

Also returning are the STOL (short take-off and landing) flying demonstrations, company officials noted.

Visitors are invited to tour the Zenith Aircraft kit production facilities, as well as talk to the owners and builders of Zenith aircraft at the fly-in.

Suppliers and vendors will also participate, sharing technical information about their services and products.

Also returning to this year’s fly-in is the Zenith “banquet” (outdoors again this year, allowing for social distancing) on Friday evening, and a BBQ on Saturday evening. Door prizes donated by sponsors will be awarded at the dinner events.
