Registration opens for 2023 free IA renewal events

Registration is now open for Concorde Battery Corporation’s 2023 Virtual IA Renewal Series and its in-person IA Renewal event at Midlands Technical College in West Columbia, South Carolina.

The free aviation maintenance training sessions are available to inspectors, maintenance professionals, pilots, aviation professionals, students, and enthusiasts.

Virtual Events

The third annual Virtual IA Renewal Series provides access to eight hours of maintenance training. Specialists teach one-hour courses on piston, turbine, and rotorcraft specific topics.

Each series runs for four hours over two days and is available in a morning (8 a.m. to 12 p.m. EST) and evening (5 p.m. to 9 p.m. EST) session to accommodate worldwide audiences, according to company officials.

Each session is eligible for up to eight hours of IA and FAA WINGS credit.

The dates are:

• Piston Virtual IA Renewal Series: Jan. 12-13
• Turbine Virtual IA Renewal Series: Jan. 19-20
• Rotorcraft Virtual IA Renewal Series: Jan. 26-27

In Person

2023 marks the return of an in-person Concorde IA Renewal Series event. For its 23rd year, the South Carolina IA Renewal will be back at Midlands College.

This full day event will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023. The day will include a catered lunch, with door prize raffles throughout the day.

This year’s event includes your option of speakers during hours 2-7 so you can select your preferences, company officials noted.
