Fargo Air Museum’s Month of Giving prepares for take off

By General Aviation News Staff · October 27, 2022 ·

The Fargo Air Museum is launching a “Month of Giving” starting Nov. 15 and running through Dec. 15, 2022.

Each week will have a different focus, providing education on different ways to give and the individuals and programs a donation will impact.

The four different focuses are:

  1. Endowment
  2. Youth education programs
  3. Cryptocurrency
  4. Veterans

“We have been blessed with the gracious support of our community throughout this year,” says Ryan Thayer, executive director. “We have been able to offer more education programs, exhibits, and new exciting programming for the Fargo-Moorhead area and beyond. Our newest education outreach program is the Lil Flyers Club. We have also acquired new aircraft and artifacts while supporting our mission: Promoting aviation through education, restoration, and preservation.”

The Month of Giving campaign will allow the museum to give back, offering “new ways to learn, share experiences, and support giving,” he adds.

The museum has “ambitious goals,” including improving its education programs, restoring historic aircraft, and expanding infrastructure, officials noted.
