
General Aviation News writer Joni M. Fisher has found her fortune in crime, recently winning an award for her fourth novel in the Compass Crime series.
The instrument-rated pilot’s latest book, “East of Evil,” won the Silver Award in the categories of unpublished Thriller/Suspense and unpublished Mystery/Crime in the 2022 Royal Palm Literary Awards on Oct. 30, 2022.

Joni’s Compass Crimes books have been recognized in the US Review, the National Indie Excellence Awards, the Clue Book Awards, the Royal Palm Literary Awards, the Next Generation Indie Book Awards, the Kindle Book Awards, and others.
