Junkers A 50 Junior certified in Germany

By General Aviation News Staff · November 29, 2022 ·

The Junkers A50 Junior was certified by the German Ultralight Flight Association (Deutscher Ultraleichtflugverband (DULV)) Nov. 25, 2022.

The Light Sport Aircraft is the latest version of a plane that had its maiden flight in February 1929 and set many European and world flight records, according to Junkers officials.

Combining the latest technology with the flair of the 1930s, the newly certified aircraft is powered by 100-hp Rotax 912 iS engine with MTV-33-1A propeller and features Garmin G3X touch avionics.

The first 29 aircraft will be sold at an introductory price of 179,000 Euros ($186,978 U.S. as of Nov. 28, 2022) in European and American markets, according to company officials.

First deliveries from the factory in Obendorf am Neckar, Germany, are expected in 2022.

They’ve already have more than 20 confirmed orders smart guy!
They probably wouldn’t be interested in selling one to someone like you anyway.

187,000 plus for an open cockpit “light sport” built from what appears to be roofing sheet metal (I know it is not but still ) GOOD LUCK WITH SELLING at that price. On a different note IT IS a handsome A/C and yes I too might be interested in this if it was NOT for the OVERPRICE . ERR Body thinks what they are building / selling these days is pure gold GEEZE
