New from Sporty’s is the Flight Gear Lightweight Jacket, a lightweight jacket designed for pilots who fly general aviation airplanes.
Designed by pilots, the jacket is warm enough for cool days, yet light enough to wear in flight, according to Sporty’s officials.
The jacket features a wind- and water-resistant exterior, including a hood that can be tucked away in a pocket sewn into the collar.
Pilot-friendly features include two side pockets with zippers to keep items from falling out in the cockpit. Cuffs at the end of the sleeves are elastic with a hook and loop adjustment. The waist tightens with an adjustable bungee and an internal storm flap helps seal out the wind.
Available in sizes small through extra-extra large, the jacket is $59.95.
