FAA gives nod to Johnson & Johnson vaccine

By General Aviation News Staff · December 29, 2022 ·

The FAA has determined that pilots and others who perform safety sensitive duties may receive Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen COVID-19 vaccine.

FAA and contract air traffic controllers, who are subject to FAA medical clearance, may also receive the vaccine.

The FAA requires pilots who receive the single-dose vaccine to wait 48 hours before conducting safety sensitive aviation duties, such as flying or controlling air traffic. The waiting period, which accounts for potential side effects, applies to those holding an Airman Medical Certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 67 or a Medical Clearance issued under FAA Order 3930.3C.

The agency previously cleared the FDA-approved Moderna and Pfizer vaccines for aviation use, subject to the same 48-hour waiting period.

For more information, visit FAA’s Medical Certification page on its website.

Best is to avoid all jabs for the Wuhan flu. There exists a mountain of evidence that proves this. Besides, these so-called vaccines have done nothing to stop the spread. Most everyone who got the jab still contracted Covid, despite promises to the contrary. Including the man in the White House. I have never worn a mask, refuse testing for Wuflu, would never get a jab nor work for a company that required them. Documentation of the terrible side effects from these jabs including death is also widespread but suppressed by the mainstream media.

Agreed. Just keep in mind that it has been each man in the Whitehouse that promoted the jab. The Whitehouse is a pawn in all this.

Literally nothing you wrote is true. Care to cite some sources for your claims? Stop spreading misinformation. BTW, purely anecdotal, but my wife and I are vaccinated and fully boosted, wear masks when numbers are high, and have yet to catch it.
