Jones Memorial Airport (3F7) in Bristow, Oklahoma, recently hosted a ribbon-cutting in honor of the airport’s new terminal.
The terminal, a $1.2 million project that started construction in 2021, concludes a seven year, nearly $9 million effort to completely renovate the airport, according to state aeronautic officials.
The terminal has two offices, a pilot lounge, a conference room, a kitchen, and a large lobby.
“As we look at ways to grow and strengthen our local communities and state’s economy, it is projects like this new terminal that will have the greatest impact,” said Senator Todd Gollihare. “The Jones Memorial Airport provides hundreds of direct and indirect jobs and contributes more than $7 million to the economy annually.”
He added the new terminal “will help attract even more businesses and travelers to the area, adding to the endless economic benefits the airport provides for our state.”
