Jeff DeFreest submitted this photo and note: “A busy summer GA day. I arrived in Petersburg at Lloyd R. Roundtree Seaplane Facility (63A) in Alaska to pick up a southbound charter passenger for Ketchikan, just as the Scott was departing his own base on a charter elsewhere. Summer time in Southeast Alaska can be a real busy flying time, if the weather cooperates. We are moving around remote lodge guests, US Forest Service rental cabin campers, mining and exploration teams, fishermen, and government personnel, just to name a few. I love the energy of it, and the missions are different every day.”

Just amazing to do that work. I am passionate about seaplane flying and if lived life all over again would relish this type of work . Amazingly beautiful and “glamorous” … beats any Boeing or Airbus !!
