The annual Cactus Fly-In and Hot Rod Show celebrates its 65th year in 2023, with the event set for March 4 at Casa Grande Municipal Airport (KCGZ) in Arizona.
Organized by the Classic Airplane Association of Arizona, the fly-in is held on the first weekend in March every year.
“We are not an airshow, but simply an old-fashioned fly-in where we try to gather as many antique aircraft and, now, autos as we can fit onto the airfield,” organizers say.
A donation of $10 a person or $20 a carload is suggested, however organizers note that aircraft and cars on display are not asked for a donation.
Organizers ask owners of display aircraft and autos to visit the fly-in’s website to learn more about how to register for the event.
As an added bonus for pilots, a ground school clinic for formation flying will be offered on Friday, March 3.

Thank you much for including this announcement in your digital version of the “GAN”! The event is planning to host a large group of Antique and Classic aircraft and cars. Good Arizona weather would be a big help.
