Pipistrel has selected Lincoln Park Aviation (LPA) as its distributor for 15 states in the eastern United States.
With more than 35 years of experience in aviation, the New Jersey company will handle sales and support for Pipistrel’s two- and four-seat aircraft, including the electric Velis Electro and the Panthera.
The company, based in Lincoln Park, N.J., will oversee sales and service in Connecticut, Delaware, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, and Vermont.
In 2020, Pipistrel’s Velis Electro became the world’s first, and currently only, electric aircraft to receive full type certification from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The Slovenian company was bought by Textron in April 2022, creating a new subsidiary, Textron eAviation.
