Textron Aviation has increased the number of parts located in Alaska to better support customers who fly Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft, according to company officials.
In collaboration with Northland Aviation Services, the company now has a stockroom in Fairbanks.
The new stockroom means customers will receive needed parts faster than if they were shipped from the company’s headquarters in Kansas.
Officials added they will continue to monitor parts ordered and shipped from the Fairbanks stockroom and increase parts as needed.
